Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or accessing the Gameora mobile application or multiplayer services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Gameora. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you are prohibited from using the application and must uninstall it immediately.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these terms at any time. When we make updates, we will change the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
License to Use
Gameora grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and limited license to download, install, and use the application on compatible mobile devices solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
You agree that you will not: sell, lease, rent, redistribute, or sublicense the application; modify, disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer any part of the application, matchmaking protocols, or server code; or use the application to build any competing gaming service.
Fair Play & Conduct Policy
Cheating & Exploitation Prohibition
Gameora maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards cheating. Any use of chess bots, card tracking hacks, Ludo turn exploits, or packet manipulation tools to alter match outcomes is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent device bans.
You agree to use our matchmaking services in a sportsmanlike manner. Intentionally dropping connections to avoid loss records, exploiting visual glitches, collusion (teaming in Card Game 28 or Ludo matches), or trading wins is forbidden and may result in reset profiles or stats.
Voice Chat Guidelines
Gameora offers real-time voice communication channels powered by WebRTC. To ensure a friendly environment, you agree not to use the voice channels to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse other players.
- Transmit hate speech, discriminatory statements, or slurs based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or nationality.
- Broadcast music, spam sounds, or explicit audio content that disrupts the gaming experience for other lobby participants.
We do not record your audio (per our Privacy Policy), but match participants can report users for abusive chat behavior. Gameora reserves the right to suspend voice access for accounts found violating these guidelines.
Service & Match Uptime
Gameora depends on remote servers (via WebSockets and Socket.io) and voice providers (LiveKit) to connect players. While we strive to maintain high availability, we do not guarantee that matchmaking, lobby access, or voice services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
We are not responsible for any connection issues, packet loss, or server shutdowns during active matches. No compensation (rating points, in-app statuses, etc.) will be provided for rating score resets or game disconnections caused by server outages or internet connectivity errors.
Intellectual Property
All software, card graphics, board animations, game mechanics, logos, visual assets, text, and designs in the Gameora app and website are the exclusive property of Gameora and are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
Use of our assets (such as card decks, ludo tokens, or lobby codes) for anything other than playing the game within the app is prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing.
Account Termination & Access Restrictions
We reserve the right, without notice and at our sole discretion, to terminate your license to use the application or restrict your access to multiplayer lobbies and matchmaking systems. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to:
- Breaching these Terms and Conditions.
- Acts of harassment or abuse toward other players.
- Detection of third-party cheat modifications.
- Requests by law enforcement or government agencies.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GAMEORA IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL GAMEORA, ITS DIRECTORS, OR ITS EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE) ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
